2009-01-11 January 11 Bulletin

We are God's Children - gathered by Him in love - to bring glory to the Triune God, to pray, to seek the lost, to nurture the young in the Lord, to care for the hurting, and to encourage one another. We do this in obedience to His Word.

Next Sunday, January 18th

We turn to Luke 4 as Jesus goes about “Preaching the Good News.” In the evening read from 2 Kings as it records “The Decline and Fall of Israel.” Pastor Mike will lead our Worship.

From the Secretaries:

This past week we had an email glitch and did not receive everyone’s email at the end of the week. If your bulletin announcement is missing, that is the reason it is not in the bulletin.

Our Church Family

Please keep Roger, Anita and family in your daily prayers this week.

Do remember our seniors and shut ins in prayer: Tilly Biel, Lea Dykstra, Tena Ellen, Wigger Meindersma, Theresa Salomons, Ruth Sluys, and Ann Swier.

Remember our missionaries around the world.

Lost and Found – Last chance to check the lost and found box in the basement.

There are some bed sheets in it as well as a table cloth, mitts, ski gloves, leather gloves, hats, a men’s summer jacket, T-shirts and pants, flip-flops and other interesting items. The box is located at the bottom of the front stairs directly to your right on the counter. The items that are left in it will go to the Thrift store this week. The secretaries are also in possession of several keys and a silver ring. If you have lost any of these items, please contact Cindy or Dana.

Thank you to everyone

who brought Christmas baking last month. It was greatly appreciated! There are some leftover containers and dishes in the kitchen, please check to see if they are yours.

Seniors’ Club
