Our Church Family

Ruth has been moved to the Red Deer hospital so she can receive more specialized treatments from heart and lung specialists. She still cannot regularly breathe, and her heart is still constantly in the danger zone for congestive heart failure. However, the Lord is our Rock and strength and gives us peace thru the Lord Jesus, and with His love holds us firmly in His hands. Ruth loves to have visitors.

The flowers will be sent to Scott and Irene Fraser in appreciation of volunteering for all the games at the picnic last week. We thank you for your leadership, creativity, imagination and organization of all the games, we all enjoyed them very much and we appreciate you representing our church in this capacity during Lacombe Days.

Do remember our seniors and shut ins in prayer: Tilly Biel, Albert De Waal, Lea Dykstra, Wigger Meindersma, Theresa Salomons, Ruth Sluys and Ann Swier.

Remember our missionaries around the world.

Day of Encouragement

We live in a rapidly changing world, where our safety, security and worldview are often challenged, yet we are called to love God and our neighbor, to be merciful and compassionate. So how do we show Compassion in a Changing World? That is the theme of the 10th annual Day of Encouragement, to be held D.V. on Saturday, November 7th at The King’s University College. Keynote speaker Ida Kaastra-Mutoigo (Canadian director-CRWRC) is joined by a great line-up of workshop leaders to offer a great day of learning.
