Bethel YouthNext Sunday, August 12thWe read from Psalm 139 and confront the false idea that God does not know what is going on in my life and does not care. Actually God knows us in every detail (omniscient) and is with us always (omnipresent). In the evening we affirm another essential aspect of the Christian FAITH: that God Intentionally saves those he has adopted as his children. Pastor Mike will lead our worship. Persecuted ChurchTwo Christians in Iran who endured many months in prison, including significant amounts of time spent in solitary confinement, have been released. Praise God that these believers have been released and that the prayers of many have been answered. Please pray that other Christian brothers and sisters wrongfully imprisoned will be freed in God's timing. Pray that they will remain faithful to God and be a bold witness for Christ during their time in prison. Pray that young Christians will be able to pursue their studies and will use their gifts to bring great glory to God. |
