Our Church Family

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.

Congratulations to Rob and Michelle de Regt as they were married this past Friday afternoon. May our Lord continue to bless the two of you as you start a new life together.

Happy Birthday to Eleanor Wildeboer, she celebrates her birthday on Tuesday. May your special day be filled with the Lords richest blessings!

Ria Jager is in hospital receiving treatment for tiredness and low oxygen. She remains strong in the Lord and trusts in his gracious strength from day to day.

Do remember our seniors and shut ins in prayer:

Bethel News

Next Sunday, September 9th

We turn our focus to what it means to be church. The ministries of the church help us, young and old to grow stronger in faith and together in community. We will read from Deuteronomy 6. Our second service will be at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon with the Young People wrapping up their retreat time with us in a service of praise led by our Classis Youth coordinator Pastor Ron deVries.

Children and Worship

Will begin again September 9th for all grades one and two children. They are welcome to join us when the preschool Sunday School children go downstairs.

Circle of Friends

is going well, serving many good meals each week. You can get involved. We need helpers, individual people or families. Helpers arrive on Thursday at about 4:00 p.m. to set up tables, serve the meal and help with the cleanup. We are usually finished around 6:15 p.m. This is a hands on way to reach out to the community. Contact Hilda Nowochin or Barb Vandyk.

Bible Study Time

We will be having an information and planning meeting to discuss new topics for a Bible study at Brad and Erin Lewin’s home on Monday, September 10th at 7:30 p.m. The current tentative schedule has Bible studies at the Lewin house every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. with a proposed start date of Monday, October 1st. For more information contact either the Lewins or Bouwmans.
