Next Sunday, March 9th

We welcome our Cadets as they take part in worship around their theme “Work in Progress” base on Philippians 1:4-6. In the afternoon Pastor Mike plans an exchange with Pastor Neil DeKoning from Woodynook as there is our two day Classis meeting this week.

Today’s offeringis for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. While many people know that World Renew works through CFGB to provide food and assistance following natural disasters, perhaps less known is its response to conflicts, violence and civil unrest. Human-caused disasters result in an overwhelming loss of life every year and force millions to flee for their lives. Contributions to CFGB enable World Renew to respond. Gifts regularly receive a 4:1 match from the Canadian government and are further leveraged by the support of other CFGB member organizations. Please give generously so that World Renew can continue to replenish its CFGB account and continue to serve wherever there is need.

Next week’s offering is for the Cadet program. Cadets is a boys club for Grades 4-9 where we help boys to grow more Christlike in all areas of life. Our regular meetings consist of saying the landmarks, having a Bible discussion, and then working on badges or projects. This year we had an evening at a welding shop which was great! We also get together with other local clubs for ice fishing / snow derbies, Cadet Sundays, Jamborees and camping trips throughout the year. Half of the offering on Cadet Sunday goes to the Calvinist Cadet Corps, so they can keep generating Cadet materials for our use. Our local club uses the monies to purchase guide books, badges, magazines, project supplies and field trips. We appreciate your continuing support to this ministry!
