OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.

Rena DeRuiter has moved to the Seniors’ Lodge. Her room is D-106. She joins a number of our church members who are living there. We pray for her as she makes the transition to assisted living.

Do remember our seniors and shut ins Albert & Tilly Biel, Klaas Boskers, Lea Dykstra, Tony Middag, Grace Spelt, Lena Spelt, Ernie Stebner and Grace Vander Veen in prayer.

Pray for our missionaries around the world.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Prolife Newsletter

Today you will find the Prolife Newsletter and information on Euthanasia and Assisted Suicide in your mailbox. Did you know that abortions are legal in Canada anytime before the child's head passes through the birth canal? Also legalizing euthanasia and assisted suicide grants physicians the right to cause your death. Pain can be controlled and alleviated without legalizing euthanasia or assisted suicide. We hope you will take the time to read it so you will be informed.

The Canadian Foodgrains Bank

has been involved in growing crops in the Lacombe area since 1996. We have been blessed with good crops that have been sold for sizable amounts of money, especially when matched by the federal government 4:1. With this money, food can be purchased in countries where there is the greatest need. At this time, we are still looking for a piece of land that could be rented or donated for the 2014 crop year. We as a committee ask if this request could be prayerfully considered. Your contact for Bethel CRC is Craig Van Stryland at 403-784-3519 or 403-391-3299 or you may also contact Ken Ditzler at 403-782-7022. Thank you!
