Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.

How comforting to be surrounded by the family of God during trying times. We would like to thank all those who remembered us with prayers, visits, and condolences during this time of loss. The Keitels and the extended Rynsburger families

Many thanks for the phone calls, best wishes and all who attended the open house in celebration of my 90th birthday. God is Good! Alice Scholing

Could you please, at your convenience, go to the nearest police station in your area and start the process. If you so choose to do this online, we can proceed this way instead. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at the church Wednesdays and Fridays or any evening. Dana van Gyssel

On July 14th, two South Sudanese pastors, who were on trial for crimes calling for the death penalty, were convicted on lesser counts and released on time served. Although agents from Sudan's National Intelligence and Security Services had arrested the pastors, the defense recommended that the court drop the charges due to a lack of evidence. Rev. Yat Michael, 49, was convicted of "inciting hatred" for delivering a message of encouragement in December of 2014 to a church in the face of a government-aided takeover of the congregation's property. Rev. Peter Yein Reith, 36, was convicted of "breaching public peace," following his January 11th arrest for submitting a letter of concern, inquiring about the whereabouts of Rev. Michael. While rejoicing with these pastors and their families over this outcome, let's pray for God's protection and blessing upon these faithful believers. May all the church leaders of Sudan be granted wisdom and direction as they lead their congregations during this time of increased pressure due to extremist propaganda. Also, pray that any previously placed travel bans posing hindrance to the pastors' ministry will be lifted so they can freely continue serving in other areas of Africa and beyond.
