We extend our condolences to Joanne van Gyssel with the death of her brother Gerrit in Holland this past Tuesday. He had been ill and in the hospital and died peacefully with his wife Ina by his side. He was 77 years old. May God grant comfort to the family in this time of sadness.

Clarence and Doreen Kits were informed this week that their son Kevin had died in his apartment in Red Deer. We grieve with them in their loss. We also remember Kevin’s wife and children in their sadness. May our gracious God bring comfort through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Do remember those who are unable to worship regularly with us: please keep Jenny Bajema, Tilly Biel, Klaas Boskers, Gerry Doornenbal, Lea Dykstra, Lillian Mercier, Ernie Stebner and Grace Vander Veen in your prayers.

Pray for our missionaries around the world.

Community Christmas Dinner:

We give thanks that the details came together well again this year. Thanks to Pete and Cora Hoekstra for arranging everything and for the many volunteers who helped out in the preparation, serving and clean up. With everyone’s help we served a record 180+ people, sharing with them the joy of Christmas when otherwise they would be sitting home alone. Praise God.

Congratulations to the Bethel congregation as we have met 100% of our ministry shares for 2015!
