May 1 Bulletin

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.

Congratulations to Bill Wildeboer with the celebration of his birthday this coming Wednesday and to Hilda Van Stryland with her birthday this coming Friday. We pray that you will be blessed with special days on your birthdays and feel God’s nearness and blessings in the coming year.

Do remember those who are unable to worship regularly with us: please keep Jenny Bajema, Tilly Biel, Klaas Boskers, Gerry Doornenbal, Lea Dykstra, Lillian Mercier, Ernie Stebner and Grace Vander Veen in your prayers.

Pray for our missionaries around the world.

Bethel News

1. Pray for the children and youth who are playing sports this spring, that they do not have injuries.

2. Prayer for a neighbour who is dealing with an extended sickness and seeks God’s healing grace.

Giving Post:

In the foyer you will notice it. Please take a moment to note down on a heart (on the table) a detail of how you have been able to show the love of Christ in giving of yourself in the service of others right here in Lacombe. This initiative grows out of our Mexico Mission team that brought a Christian heart of service to needy families in Mexico. We can be inspired to do similar things right here in Lacombe for our neighbors.

The May edition of the Bethel Newsletter

is in your church mailboxes.
