August 28 Bulletin

On Sunday, September 4th

We celebrate the baptism of Tymen Van Stryland as his parents Kyle and Erica present him to receive the sign of God’s covenant love. The service will focus on the assurance we receive in the sacrament based on Acts 2:38-39. Pastor Mike will lead our worship.

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.

Dear Bethel Church Family: It is with thanksgiving that we celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary this weekend. We acknowledge and are deeply thankful for the Lord’s blessings, guidance and presence throughout our married years. We are grateful that we can celebrate this occasion with our 6 children who are here today, as well as with our dear church family. Throughout the past many years we have been abundantly blessed and assisted by the friendship and prayers of those in this church family. We would like to invite you to the Fellowship Hall after the service to celebrate with us over coffee and anniversary cake.

Love, John and Shirley Bos

Centre for Public Dialogue: Creation

As we splash in the lakes and play in the fields of God’s creation this summer, may we remember the Creator and see his glory all around us. Creator God, your creation declares your majesty. Give us eyes to see, lips to praise you, and hands to steward your creation, out of love for you, its Creator and ours.
