Please
remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your
personal devotions. Continue to remember those young and old with ongoing
physical, spiritual, and emotional struggles.
Tilly Biel
was admitted to the Lacombe hospital with shingles and with difficulty
breathing. She is being monitored closely. We pray for God’s healing grace in
her life.
Do remember
those who are unable to worship regularly with us: please keep Jenny Bajema, Tilly Biel, Klaas
Boskers, Lea Dykstra, Ernie Stebner and Grace Vander Veen in your prayers.
Pray for our
missionaries around the world.
Bethel News
Note from Pastor Mike:
At this time the Grace CRC in Welland, Ontario has called me to be their
pastor. They have asked that I prayerfully consider their call and give them a
response in the New Year. At this time I
would appreciate your prayers as I consider this call and I would ask you to
share with me what the Holy Spirit speaks into your heart as you pray about
these things. We trust in the Lord’s guidance as we go forward in faith.

DENOMINATIONAL
NEWS
THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to our Christmas at Sea project this year. Your response was very encouraging and will
result (and has already resulted) in many mariners being pointed to the reason
for our celebration, the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour! On behalf of the Ministry to Seafarers and
everyone who will receive one of the gifts you helped provide, “Thank
You”. May you experience God’s rich
blessing as you celebrate our Saviour’s birth. From Ernst Devries, Chaplain.
PERSECUTED
CHURCH
From
Voice of the Martyrs - Canada:
Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and ministry on behalf of our
persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. As we all reflect on that
very first Christmas, may our hearts well up with praise, adoration and
gratitude to God for sending His greatest Gift to a lost and broken humanity –
the Promised Messiah who is Christ the Lord! During this Christmas season, may we be mindful of our Lord's abiding
love and presence with us, His desire to minister to the needs of His suffering
people, and His heart of mercy towards those who are spiritually lost and
perishing. May every person on the face
of this earth have the opportunity to hear the "Good News" of our
Lord Jesus and respond to His unfathomable love!
