2017‎ > ‎May 7 Bulletin‎ > ‎

Our offering today is for Teen Challenge Alberta. Teen Challenge is a 12 month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is part of a network of over 15 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada and more than 1,000 worldwide. The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.

Next Sunday we will take an offering for the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre. They provide compassionate support and education for individuals and families impacted by unexpected pregnancy and related issues. They have offices in Red Deer, Olds, Sundre and Rocky Mountain House. All of our programs and services are free, confidential, and are offered in a safe and non-judgmental environment regardless of age, gender, race, or religion.

Next Sunday, May 14th the Deacons will be starting the Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre baby bottle or envelope campaign which will end on Father’s Day. There is two ways of giving this year. Take a baby bottle or envelope, fill the bottle with coins or the envelope with cash or cheque. You will receive either a bottle or envelope in your mailbox. The mission of the CAPCC is to offer support and education in a loving Christian environment to individuals impacted by pregnancy.
