CHURCH OFFERINGS

Our offering today is for support for Albert & Carolyn Strydhorst. Albert is doing ministry with the Timothy Leadership Training Institute in Grand Rapids. This continues to be rewarding work. People in more than 30 countries were trained using TLT materials. For a great many of them TLT is their only formal ministry training as seminary or Bible school is not available them. Please continue to keep Albert & Carolyn and their family in your prayers. They are very thankful for our ongoing spiritual and financial support.

Sunday, August 6th we will take an offering for Central Alberta Christian High School. CACHS strives for excellence through Christ as they transform education within a Christian community.

Food for Thought: "The Bible does not present an art of prayer; it presents the God of prayer. We shouldn't pray according to our feelings and experiences…we should do everything possible to behold our God as he is, and prayer will follow. The more clearly we grasp who God is, the more our prayer will be shaped accordingly."
