2017‎ > ‎August 27 Bulletin‎ > ‎

Our offering today is for Central Alberta Youth Unlimited/Youth for Christ. The mission of Youth for Christ is to participate in the body of Christ in responsible evangelism of youth, presenting them with the person, work and teachings of Christ and leading them into the local church. Central Alberta Youth Unlimited/Youth for Christ we see the hope and potential in every young person.

Next Sunday, September 3rd we will take an offering for Ministry Support for Diana Boot. Diana is working in Uganda as a Christian education Specialist, working with Christian teachers to help them grow in their understanding and practice of teaching as a reflection of their calling to serve God in all they are and do. She helps to develop intentional thinking and teaching practice that Christian teachers will, in turn, impart to others.

Food for Thought:

Prayer and action...can never be seen as contradictory or mutually exclusive. Prayer without action grows into powerless pietism, and action without prayer degenerates into questionable manipulation. Henri Nouwen
