CHURCH OFFERINGS

Our offering today is for Calvin Theological Seminary. Calvin Theological Seminary is a learning community in the Reformed Christian tradition that forms church leaders who cultivate communities of disciples of Jesus Christ. Today, graduates of Calvin Seminary can expect to be ready for effective ministry in a rapidly changing multicultural world.

Next Sunday, September 17th we will take an offering for Resonate Global Mission. On July 1st of this year, CRC Home Missions and World Missions joined together to become Resonate Global Mission. Resonate will continue the good work of Home Missions and World Missions. For more than a century, these two agencies have been introducing people to Christ in North America and around the world. That means continuing our partnership with churches in Canada to plant churches, do campus ministry, train and equip pastors, and develop future leaders. Additionally, it means sending missionaries overseas, proclaiming the Gospel, and forging lasting partnerships. Please support the important mission of missions at home and abroad!

Food for Thought:

“In praying together we disciple one another: we strengthen one another's faith, testify to our experiences of God, shape one another's repentance and desires, stir one another to thanksgiving, and encourage one another in godly habits. In these things, too, we also help one another to resist the various temptations to sin.” Megan Hill

David Clarkson wrote: “In private prayer you provide for your own good, but in public prayer you do good both to yourselves and others.”

Next Sunday, September 17th

We will join together for worship and praise at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome!
