CHURCH OFFERINGS

Our offering today is for the The Gideons International in Canada. By the divine calling of God, the mission of the Gideons International in Canada is to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, through the personal evangelism and Scripture distribution, in Canada and worldwide, so that people may receive eternal life.

Next Sunday, October 1st

We will take an offering for ministry support for En-Gedi Children’s Home - Margaret Njuguna. Margaret has dedicated her life to En-Gedi Children’s Home in Kenya. There, the love of God is shared with the many children who love each other, play together, sing and dance as they have been able to do so. They are created in God’s image. They are not disabled. They are abled differently!

As Treasure Seekers

Starts this Sunday we would like to say thank you, Cora Hoekstra and Cathy Dowling for your years of willingly and ably teaching the Grade 5/6 Treasure Seekers class.

Children will make their way to their classes after the song of response today. Michele Noort leads the grade 3/4 class and Joan Eisses the 5/6 class.

Food for Thought:

“Hear, O Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Guard my life, for I am devoted to you. You are my God; save your servant who trusts in you. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I call to you all day long..." Psalm 86:1-3. Does it feel like God isn't hearing you? Like you are 'rowing but not getting anywhere?’ Like you're rowing in the dark and you don't know where you're heading? Keep rowing, that is, praying. The day will dawn; the wind will be with you again..."For you will answer me.” (Psalm 86:7b.)
