2017‎ > ‎November 19 Bulletin‎ > ‎

Today we bring our offerings for the CRC Chaplaincy Development Fund. This Sunday is designated as Chaplaincy and Care Sunday and the offering will be used to help future chaplains obtain the specialized training required for chaplaincy service.

Next Sunday, November 26thwe will takean offering for Ministry Support for Albert & Carolyn Strydhorst. Albert is currently working with the Timothy Leadership Training Institute (TLT) through Resonate Global Mission and Calvin Seminary. In the past year TLT has trained more than 2500 people who do not have access to Bible school or seminary in over 30 countries. The Strydhorsts rely on ongoing support from churches such as ours as they carry on this training work based in Grand Rapids.

Food for Thought: Lord’s Day 45, Question and Answer 116, Why do Christians need to pray? Because prayer is the most important part of the thankfulness God requires of us. And also because God gives His grace and Holy Spirit only to those who pray continually and groan inwardly, asking God for these gifts and thanking Him for them.
