2018‎ > ‎2018-03-04 Bulletin‎ > ‎

Today we bring our offerings for the World Renew Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Every year, churches across Canada collaborate with World Renew and the Canadian Foodgrains Bank to respond to God’s call to feed the hungry. In 2018, conflict continues to threaten the wellbeing of millions and one of the most essential needs – food – is not getting to those who need it most. World Renew is committed to changing this, and your gift next week will help make this possible. All donations made are eligible for a match of up to 4:1 from the Canadian Government!

Next Sunday, March 11th we will take an offering for Tuition Relief for local Christian Education here in Lacombe. Each year Bethel collects monies to contribute to the Tuition Relief Fund. This fund provides financial support for families who are having difficulty meeting their tuition obligations at Lacombe Christian School or Central Alberta Christian High School.

Food for Thought:

Christ taught us to pray to 'Our Father in heaven' - whereas once we were enemies, in Christ now God loves us no less than He loves his own Son. Let that sink in for a moment: God loves us as much as He loves His only begotten Son. Won't you bring everything to Him, then, in prayer?
