Today we bring our offerings for the Tuition Relief for local Christian Education here in Lacombe. Each year Bethel collects monies to contribute to the Tuition Relief Fund. This fund provides financial support for families who are having difficulty meeting their tuition obligations at Lacombe Christian School or Central Alberta Christian High School.

Next Sunday, March 18th we will take an offering for North America Indigenous Ministries – serving with First Nations to reach all Nations. Sean and Becky Folkerts and their multicultural family of 7 children that God has beautifully put together, minister to the Louis Bull Cree Nation near Maskwacis. Through His amazing grace, God has put in Sean & Becky’s hearts the burning desire to share their lives and more importantly, His love with these amazing people! Sean & Becky are involved in the community, and have plans on extending their ministry. Currently they work with youth, high risk youth, families and some work with men. Lord willing, in time, there will be involvement with women’s ministry, work with young teenage ladies, and more involvement with men. They feel they are merely a tool used for His Kingdom work! Sean & Becky plan to be with us next Sunday and will share more about their mission work at that time.

Food for Thought: "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrews 7:25. Jesus intercedes, prays for us. Because He came to save us while we were yet sinners. He prayed for those who nailed him to the cross: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." How much more will he pray for you if you love him!
