Today we bring our offerings for World Renew Refugee Sunday. On this day we celebrate and reflect on the compassionate work of churches across Canada that have reached out in support of refugees in need of protection and have become neighbors to them. World Renew’s refugee sponsorship ministry continues to give refugees, their sponsoring churches, and people around the world new opportunities to see God’s goodness at work. Will you join World Renew in celebrating and giving thanks for these signs of hope?

Next Sunday, April 29th

We will take an offering for the En-Gedi Children’s Home - Margaret Njuguna. Margaret has dedicated her life to En-Gedi Children’s Home in Kenya. There, the love of God is shared with the many children who love each other, play together, sing and dance as they have been able to do so. They are created in God’s image. They are not disabled. They are abled differently!

A Potluck Soup & Bun Luncheon

will take place after the morning worship service today. Everyone is welcome!

Next Sunday, April 29th

We welcome the Parkland Men’s Choir and their director, Larry Johnston as they lead us in worship & praise. All are welcome to this special service!

Food for Thought:

John 14:20 says “On that day ..(of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit).. you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” How close we are to the Father, in Jesus Christ! Surrounded andin-dwelt by the Triune God. What impact that realization should have on our prayer life!
