This week we will take an offering for Ministry Support for Diana Boot. Diana is working in Uganda as a Christian education Specialist, working with Christian teachers to help them grow in their understanding and practice of teaching as a reflection of their calling to serve God in all they are and do. She helps to develop intentional thinking and teaching practice that Christian teachers will, in turn, impart to others.

Next Sunday, July 1st we will take an offering for World Renew. This Canada Day, World Renew and many now successful farmers thank you and Global Affairs Canada for helping families and entire communities to journey out of poverty and create healthier lives and more hopeful futures. Through support from the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, World Renew is working with local partners over the course of five years in Kenya and Tanzania to train 10 720 farmers in conservation agriculture. The Canadian government is contributing 14 million to this five year program “15-’20) Every dollar you donate to this program will be matched 3:1 by the Canadian government.

Plan to join us Sunday, July 1st after the morning service for fun, fellowship and lunch! Please bring either a SALAD or DESSERT. Burgers will be provided. All are welcome! Hope to see you there!!
