2018‎ > ‎2018-07-22 Bulletin‎ > ‎

Our offering today is for the Lacombe Community Refugee Effort. The Al Omar family, sponsored by the Lacombe Community Refugee Effort in 2016 has extended family still overseas and the hope is that they also will be able to come to our community and live in safety here. They are also working to bring a young single man from Sudan who needs a home in a country where he will not face persecution. Please give generously to this cause.

The next Sunday, August 5th, our offering will be for the Ministry Support of Mark, Selina and Levi Patterson. Continue to pray for the family as they work in China.

Food for Thought: Colossians 3:13, Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive, as the Lord forgave you. Do you want the Lord to be merciful and gracious to you, and forgive your sins so you may return to the Father? Then pay attention, to how you treat others....

Sunday, August 5th

we will befocusing on 1 Kings 18:16-39, Foreign gods in the Promised Land. We will look at how foreign gods find themselves in all sorts of places. What foreign gods do we need to be aware of in our context? In the face of this, we worship the God of life – the one who reveals himself in fire and revealed himself in Jesus. Pastor Steven Berkenpas will lead us in worship.
