CHURCH OFFERINGS

Our offering today is for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. CFGB’s goal is a world without hunger. They work toward this goal by: providing food in times of crisis for hungry people in the developing world; helping people grow more food to better feed themselves and their families; and providing nutritional support to malnourished people with a focus on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and young children. They also advocate for public policies that enable families and communities to better feed themselves, and look for ways to engage and educate Canadians about global hunger.

The next Sunday, September 2nd, our offering will be for Lacombe Christian School. LCS believes Christian Education to be an extension of the church, where Alberta Education’s Curriculum is taught with a biblical perspective.

Food for Thought:

"...stay in the fight 'til the final round; you're not going under 'cause God is holding you right now. You might be down...feeling like it's hopeless, that's when He reminds you that you're an overcomer." Read God's Word in Romans 8:37,38: ...we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For nothing can separate us from the love of God through Him.

Next Sunday, September 2nd

We welcome Pastor Steven Berkenpas as he leads us in worship.
