CHURCH OFFERINGS

The offering today is forResonate Global Mission. The world is at our doorstep. Let’s resonate mission in our neighborhood and around the world. The Christian Reformed Church has a rich history of sending missionaries, planting churches, engaging students through campus ministry and international schools, and a passion for fulfilling the great commission. We are excited about continuing this work as Resonate Global Mission! Now we are joining with God on mission both here in North America and around the globe. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Next Sunday’s offering will be for World Renew Refugee Sunday. On this day we celebrate and reflect on the compassionate work of churches across Canada that have reached out in support of refugees in need of protection and have become neighbors to them. World Renew’s refugee sponsorship ministry continues to give refugees, their sponsoring churches, and people around the world new opportunities to see God’s goodness at work. Will you join World Renew in celebrating and giving thanks for these signs of hope?

UPCOMING SERVICES

Next Sunday, April 28th

Pastor Jacob will be starting a sermon series entitled The Birth of the Church: Signs and Wonders. Our first message will come from Acts 5:15-32, Risks for Jesus. We have the pleasure of celebrating the Lord’s Supper together, all are welcome!

Food for Thought:

Last week we sang The Servant Song; there was one line that stood out to me about holding out the Christ light to others. But that's only possible if Christ is your light first. Is Jesus Christ your Light, your Life? Your great Love? Jesus loved His own to the very end. Now that's a message, a light to spread around!

Prayer:

The apostle Paul urged us never to cease praying. We also have reason to never cease giving thanks. Jesus came to earth, suffered, died, and rose again. He is victorious over everything. What is it that you wouldn't be able to bring to Him in prayer?
