CHURCH OFFERINGS

The offering today is for the Teen Challenge Alberta. Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is part of a network of over 13 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada and more than 1,100 worldwide. The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.

Next Sunday’s offering will be for Albert & Carolyn Strydhorst. Albert is doing ministry with the Timothy Leadership Training Institute in Grand Rapids. Death Is Overcome:

Today we are reflecting on Acts 9:36-43, the story of Tabitha being raised from the dead. We will tie this message of new life with Teen Challenge Alberta, who will be joining us to share how Jesus has worked within their lives to bring them from a road leading to death into new life.

UPCOMING SERVICES

Next Sunday, May 19th

We continue our series in Acts, looking at various signs and wonders within the new Christian community as the early church was being established. We will be turning to Acts 11:1-18, Who is In, Who is Out? Our tendency is to try and figure out who belongs and who doesn’t. When it comes to belonging to Jesus, are we sometimes too quick in keeping people out?
