OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Continue to pray for healing for Steve Ogi. Remember those who are unable to worship regularly with us: Jennie Bajema, Bill Wildeboer, Dave Reitsma and Rena DeRuiter. Pray also for those who struggle in silence with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional issues. Continue to pray for our missionaries around the world. Please remember Diana Boot, Margaret Njuguna, Mark, Selina & Levi Patterson, Albert & Carolyn Strydhorst and John & Marian VanderMeer.

Prayer:

In Matthew 24:12 the Lord Jesus is speaking about the future for Israel, but also about our future. He said: "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved." The love of most will grow cold...doesn't that send a chill down your spine? Let us all pray that we may be given the grace to draw close to the Lord, and He will draw close to us (James 4:8), so we will be able to stand firm and be saved, yes, but most of all that we may love Him, and our love to those around us will not grow cold!

Sincere condolences go out to Willie Stebner as she lost her mother Willy Ubbing this past Tuesday, July 30th. May our Lord comfort you and family; grant you peace and strength in the coming weeks and months.

Directory Change:

Please note that Alice Scholing has moved into a new room, #A3, at the Lacombe Senior Citizens Lodge. Address and phone number have not changed.

Dear Bethel:

This week I will be returning to Uganda for the next round of trainings. Please pray especially for travelling mercies in country and for health and energy to do the work. I am still trying to get to optimal health but thankfully have doctor’s clearance to travel and work in Uganda. I will be back to visit in the fall to continue connecting with supporting churches in Alberta and I hope to be able to visit more with you then. Until then, Diana Boots

At Last and Thanks be to God!! The Lacombe Community Refugee Effort

Fall clothing is very welcome. We will be looking for household items later. Contact Walter & Ella at 403 -782 - 2425

Reminder to the congregation:
