Today’s offering is for Lacombe and District VolunteerLink which is a registered charity that offers assistance to many people in our community. They provide help in many ways to support those in need.

Our next offering is for Youth Unlimited. Youth Unlimitedhelps churches challenge youth to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and transform this world for Him.

Youth Unlimited is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian ministry organization that focuses on assisting local congregations in their youth ministry through short-term mission trips and youth conferences. They strongly believe that the local church is the tool God created to use to reveal himself to the world. We know that taking the call of ministering to today’s youth is not for the faint of heart. Therefore, we are blessed by encouraging, supporting, equipping, and partnering with congregations across North America to reach this generation for Jesus Christ!

Next Sunday, December 15th

Will be the third Sunday of Advent, a time when the church slows down and reflects on the gift of Jesus who came to earth to become human like us. We also look forward to Jesus’’ return during Advent. This Advent season we will be journeying through selected passages from the Book of Revelation: Angels, Help Us to Adore Him. We will be reflecting on Revelation 4, Falling Down in Worship. In Revelation 4 we are given a peek into heaven’s throne room and the worship that happens there. It’ a good time to reflect on how worship fills and shapes our hearts and lives each day.

You are invited to Bethel Christian Reformed Church, for a Blue Christmas Service to be held on Sunday, December 15th at 5:30 p.m. Blue Christmas is for those who have experienced loss, grief, struggles and more during the year that makes it difficult to celebrate the Christmas season as the culture around us celebrates. A Blue Christmas allows us to come together with others who are experiencing hurt and brokenness in a safe place. Where we can acknowledge our pain with people who understand and hear a word from God that reminds us that He also understands where we are at. While offering us hope in Jesus Christ who came and experienced life as we do, so that we come to a God who understands. Blue Christmas shines a bit of light into our darkness to remind us that we do not walk alone.
