Today’s offering is for Canadian Foodgrains Bank/World Renew. The CFGB works toward their goal of providing food in times of crisis for hungry people in the developing world; helping people grow more food to better feed themselves and their families; and providing nutritional support to malnourished people with a focus on pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and young children.

Thank you for joining World Renew to help end hunger in the lives of displaced refugee families. We are grateful that every dollar given on CFGB Sunday is matched by the Canadian government up to 4X. For more information about World Renew’s partnership with CFGB, please visit worldrenew.ca/cfgb.

Next week Sunday our offering will be forthe Central Alberta Christian High School. The role of Christian Education at CACHS is to acknowledge God in all areas of life. This education is centred on the teachings of Jesus Christ and students see and emulate the model of service He demonstrated.

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Remember those who are unable to worship regularly with us: Jennie Bajema, Bill Wildeboer and Rena DeRuiter. Pray also for those who struggle in silence with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional issues. Continue to pray for our missionaries around the world.

Congratulations to Walter Land and Alex Wildeboer as they celebrate their birthdays on Wednesday and Friday this week. To both of you, may our Lord richly bless you both with an amazing day with family and friends. J
