  • On Sunday morning as you enter Wilson’s Funeral Chapel you are asked to maintain Physical Distancing (6 feet or 2 meters from each other.)
  • Please use the hand sanitizer and sign in on the sheets provided in the foyer. Wipe the pen with the wipes provided when you are finished.
  • Wearing a mask is required, they are provided. This is to protect others around you!
  • Family groups may sit together but we do ask others to maintain physical distancing in the pews.

Please note: Please bring your printed emailed Order of Worship with you to the service. There will not be copies available.

PLEASE NOTE: We will be serving the Lord’s Supper by inviting first the Northside pews to come forward 2 pews at a time and receive the elements, after everyone on the Northside has received their bread and wine/juice, we will then invite those in the Southside pews to come forward to receive their bread and wine/juice. We will move from the front to the rear. Thank you.

Next Sunday, October 4th

We continue our series on The Gospel by reflecting on 2 Timothy 2:1-13 Entrust the Gospel. We have been given the wonderful news of Jesus Christ and how he has saved us from sin and death and equips us for serving him. Paul calls us to entrust this good news with others who will continue to teach and share this good news with even more people who will then share the good news with more people that they know! The question we should be asking ourselves is: can I be entrusted with the good news so that it will continue to be shared?

Please remember our church family in your daily prayers, at mealtimes and during your personal devotions. Remember those who are unable to worship regularly with us: Jennie Bajema and Bill Wildeboer. Pray also for those who struggle in silence with ongoing physical, spiritual, and emotional issues. Continue to pray for our missionaries around the world, Diana Boot, Margaret Njuguna, Albert & Carolyn Strydhorst and John & Marian VanderMeer.

Prayer Requests:

  • Our condolences go out to the family of Jon Dolman. Jon passed away on Saturday, September 19th in his home with his family. The funeral was held on Thursday, September 24th at Woody Nook CRC.
  • Clarence Kits’ brother Kor had surgery on a brain lesion and while the surgery went well, the prognosis is not as positive as they had hoped. Please keep the family in your prayers.
  • Our condolences go out to Jacob Prins as his brother Norman Prins went home to the Lord. Please keep Jacob, Agnes and their family in your prayers, may the Lord surround you with his comfort and peace.
  • Congratulations to Helena Kits on becoming a great grandmother for the first time to Oscar Scott.
  • Several Bethel families are walking alongside family members and friends who are struggling with health issues, some in palliative care situations. Please pray that the Lord will be with us and use us to bring strength, hope and peace to each other.
